How it works

Flexible and clear

No jargon and no surprises, just four straightforward steps

  1. Book a chat, or message me

Book a free intro chat online, or send me a message if you'd rather write first. The chat takes 30 minutes to one hour.

  2. We agree what you need

Together we work out what you need help with and which package suits you best, and I confirm it in writing. You'll get a client agreement setting out what we've agreed, to read and sign before we start.

  3. Your monthly package

You pay the same amount each month for a set number of hours, so the time goes where your business needs it most.

  4. Extras when you need them

Need something bigger, less predictable or beyond your monthly hours, such as support with a redundancy or a new handbook? We agree the time or a fixed price first, and it goes on the next month's invoice. If you don't have a package, it's invoiced on its own.

Trying it out, and notice

For your first three months, either of us can stop at any time, straight away, by letting the other know in writing. After that, either of us can end it with 30 days' notice. For example, notice given on 13 June means we finish on 12 July. Whenever we finish, your last month is charged pro rata by calendar day, and I'll refund anything you've paid beyond that, less any Extras still to be paid. I want this to work for you, so there's no pressure: give it a try and see how it feels.

Who it's for

Smaller UK businesses without an HR team of their own, in any sector. I work remotely and I'm based in Great Bookham, Leatherhead, so visits to businesses within 10 miles are possible.

You don't need an HR department. You need someone who takes the people work off your plate and does it properly
